Elthinia presents classic JRPG-style play with a distinct contemporary look to the iOS platform. Featuring hours of gameplay, open dual class system, an expanding overworld, and an engaging storyline!
Elthinia is a world of high fantasy, of swords and sorcery, valor and treachery. The archmage Salek Sar has become hellbent on vengeance and it is up to you, the player, to stop him from opening the Nine Gates that would unleash the Goddess of Destruction unto the world.

As Japanese-style Roleplaying Game (JRPG), Elthinia pools from the familiar presentation of turn- based combat and leveling up of your characters but presents it with a unique mix of traditional and high-concept game design, bringing a distinct, lore-filled world to the palm of your hand. It is a meld of Eastern roleplaying game stylization with Western methodologies of open world exploration and player-controlled character development. This is Elthinia and it is out right now on the iOS platform. Check out screenshots and updates at Elthinia.com
- Time-honored turn-based combat in a high fantasy setting.
- A roster of characters to discover along your travels and add to your party.
- Daily progression of time which can have an affect on your encounters and discoveries.
- A vast, expansive world to explore with more areas in development.
- An open dual-class system that lets players mix and match up to 2 character classes freely. Why play just a Thief when you could be a Thief-Paladin? Why choose just a Mage when you could be a Berserker-Mage?
What separates our game from the rest of the JRPG pack is our unique art style and presentation. It’s stylistic, while not generic, it pools from some familiarities of the genre’s typical givings and expresses them distinctive design and illustration. You won’t find many JRPGs with art of this particular style, and while you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, the cover is a nice one.
I’m the art-half of Chad’s Solutions, we’re an independent games developer from Hawaii and have been working on small iOS games for the last few years. As childhood friends we always dreamed of one day making games and having people play them, the iOS platform has let us do just that. We’re always brainstorming over what to make next, always looking forward to the next challenge.
