Gravity Boy is a 2d platformer where you actually manipulate gravity to move through the levels. Avoid drills and armed soldiers and escape being eaten by a giant Cthulu-like monster.
When Gravity Boy crash lands on an unknown planet he takes it upon himself to help the denizens being attacked by General Xeves. Using his Gravity Gauntlet and fall suit, manipulate Gravity to your will in (as of right now) 15 stages. If you’re a fan of games like Super Meat Boy, VVVVVV, and Mega Man then this game is for you.

The game emerged from the idea that in most platformers gravity as a deterrent, or as an enemy itself, I really wanted to explore making something that took that common basis away and gave the player the ability to control gravity. It was an interesting experiment in gameplay and level design that really intrigued me and compelled me to continue making it.
Gravity Boy is still in alpha so there will still be some things missing. Sound design, cutscenes, levels, and another layer of polish are still to come.
As a developer I’ve dabbled in making micro games as recreation, but Gravity Boy is my first game that I’ve put months into and will still put months in. I’ve really fallen in love with game design and creation and am dedicated to making things that I’d like to play and that capture my imagination and hopefully, through this, I make fun things that people like.
