There seems to be an uproar on NeoGaf and Twitter about disabled microtransactions spotted in the review copies of the recently launched game by Ubisofft, Assassin’s Creed Unity.
The thread on Neogaf suggests a Kotaku reporter Stephen Totilo noticed disabled microtransactions while paying the game.
From the thread you can see the amount of outrage this has resulted in. Many gamers, a lot of which are loyal Ubisoft customers express their disgust. Some assume Ubisoft intentionally disabled the microtransactions from the review copies to encourage a better review score, others suggest having any type of microtransactions in a full priced title is unacceptible.
You can read the NeoGaf thread for the reaction.
